Hello, my name is Saku.
This time, continuing from the last time, we will be in Barcelona, Spain.
We will introduce some of the exquisite Spanish gourmet food that we actually enjoyed, the hotels we stayed at, and recommended souvenirs!
For transportation information, such as how to get from the airport to the center of the city, and recommended sightseeing spots, please contactAnother articlePlease check out the information in the following section.
Excellent Spanish Gourmet
El GLOP
We went to a restaurant where the squid-ink paella is said to be excellent.
Maybe they are famous among Asians because they were all Asians?
We ordered Iberian pork ham and squid ink paella.
The paella was too good to forget~!

La Pallaresa Xocolateria Xurreria

To eat churros!
The churros were freshly fried and crispy.
The standard style is to order hot chocolate separately and dip it in, but the chocolate is not at all too sweet, so it was not heavy and was a handsome perk!
The restaurant opened at 5:00 p.m., and there was a line in front of the restaurant even before it opened.
The restaurant was full in just 30 minutes.
The turnover rate is fast, so some lines may be tolerable.

EI Fornet
Breakfast.
The restaurant was empty early in the morning and the interior was spacious.
It was apparently popular with the locals and was crowded.
I got a prosciutto sandwich.

TXAPELA
Several tapas bars in the city.
The tapas menu was extensive and all were delicious!
Actually, there were several tapas restaurants I wanted to go to, but there was a line at all of them, so I had to rush here.
The sangria was surprisingly large in quantity!
There was no cinnamon or spices in it, so I drank it like a juice.

Hotel
We looked for a hotel in Plaça Catalunya for access from the airport and to tourist attractions, as well as for safety.
Catalonia Plaza Catalunya

It was 100,000 yen for 3 nights for 2 people and about 10,000 yen in accommodation tax there.
The access was perfect, and we shopped and went to drop off our bags and take a break.
Rooms are inevitably smaller💦.
In terms of location and accessibility, I would recommend Plaza Catalunya as it was convenient!
souvenir
I didn't shop much, but,
Here are some souvenirs that were great!
VICENS
Specializing in Toulon.
A traditional Spanish pastry, similar to nougat.
There were many different flavors, and when I tasted them, they were so delicious that I bought some to take home!
Barcelona is also famous for its chocolate, so be sure to visit other chocolate specialty stores besides VICENS.
Paellero

Paella ingredients available at supermarkets!
Available in packs of 5 for a reasonable price.
I saw them at the airport and other places, but they were expensive, so I recommend buying them at the supermarket.
At home, I cooked the rice in a rice cooker with the ingredients and seafood mix and ate it!
It is no match for the real thing!
LOEWE
Spain is the home of LOEWE.
There is a street store, so I looked around a bit, but I wasn't sure if it was cheaper than in Japan because of the high €💦.
I would like to buy it again if I have a chance to go back home because the tax will be less!
ZARA
ZARA is another fast fashion brand from Spain.
Some of the items were limited to Spain, and I spent a lot of time looking at clothes at ZARA during my stay ♡.
I only had time for two days, but I think I was satisfied except for the food.
That's a shame because there were many pintxos restaurants I wanted to go to.
I really wanted to drink more, but if I had the chance again, I would like to go back to see the completed Sagrada Familia for the food.
